Easy Fruit Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/4 butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can pie filling (approx 21 ounces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Place butter in 9x13 and put in oven to melt.
  3. Mix milk, sugar, flour, baking powder and Salt. Don’t over mix.
  4. Remove pan from oven and pour batter into pan. Tip to spread over entire bottom.
  5. Spoon pie filling over batter but do not mix in. Spoon evenly.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown on top, serve warm.
  7. Best with whipped topping or ice cream!
  8. variation - add 1/4 cup cocoa powder and 1 tsp vanilla to make chocolate batter. Good with blueberry or cherry filling?
