Easy Chicken Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 x 400 g tins mushroom soup
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 4 skinless cooked chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 200 g (7oz) tenderstem broccoli, trimmed and very roughly chopped
  • 200 g (7oz) peas (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 tbsp. wholegrain mustard
  • 100 g (3½oz) ciabatta bread, roughly torn

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan) mark 4. In a large bowl, mix together the soup, mayonnaise, chicken, broccoli, peas, mustard and some seasoning.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a roughly 1.6 litre (2¾ pint) ovenproof serving dish. Top with the chunks of bread and cook in the oven for about 35min or until the bread is golden and the filling is piping hot. Serve with a crisp green salad.
