Roaster Oven Beef Roast Recipe

Ingredients

  • * 2 to 3-lb. beef chuck roast
  • * 2 teaspoons salt
  • * 6 carrots cut up
  • 4 celery cut up
  • * 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • * 4 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • * 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 onion, quartered

Instructions

  1. * Place roast in bottom of COOKING PAN.
  2. * Place vegetables around sides of roast.
  3. * Add salt, pepper and broth.
  4. * Cover; cook at 250°F 3 to 4 hours or until tender.
