Pull-Apart Buttermilk Biscuits with Sausage Gravy
Ingredients
- 1/4 pound pork breakfast sausage casings removed, crumbled

- 1/4 cup All purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1.5 teaspons Black pepper freshly ground
- 1 teaspoon Fresh sage minced
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- 6 tablespoons heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 stick Unsalted butter cold cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 3 cups All purpose flour add 2 tablespoons for kneading
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1.5 cups buttermilk shaken
